-The wire (Chromel and Alumel) is soldered and left ungrounded in the stainless steel rod with ceramic tube as insulation. MgO powder may be added to faster the response time if needed. The sensor is then assembled into an aluminum explosion proof head, which is designed to extinguish flames inside the device and eliminate the potential for ignition of flammable mixtures surrounding the atmosphere. With the special structure, it is mainly applied to explosive and hazardous environment.
